Last Friday, our GFC SF Chapter met with executive directors and key staff from GrowSF, Abundant SF, and Neighbors for a Better San Francisco. We’re lucky to have engaged organizations supporting the city’s recovery alongside Mayor Lurie. The discussions uncovered more opportunities to collaborate which we’re following up on. More to come on that.
Ahead of the November election, we are supporting the GrowSF voter guide. We will also be giving to a few places where we think donations can still make a difference in these final weeks.
Supervisors — the most important lever for sustaining SF’s momentum
City College — a place which gets little attention, but which has a real shot at being improved
Congress — Support for former Supervisor and current State Senator Scott Wiener will help SF sustain its current momentum into the future.
The maximum direct donation is $500 per candidate for Supervisor and City College Board, and $3,500 per candidate for Congress. Additionally, independent expenditure entities have been established for Yekutiel and Wiener which we also think are worthy of support (please contact us if you’d like to learn more).
